Welcome to Ten0n. By downloading, installing, or using the Ten0n app ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Section 1About Ten0n

Ten0n is an iPhone application that catalogs items already on the user's device — photos, calendar events, contacts, reminders, and items the user actively shares via the iOS share sheet — and surfaces detected connections ("bridges") between them. Cataloging runs on-device using Apple's Foundation Models, Vision, and natural-language embedder. When the on-device model is uncertain about a bridge candidate, Ten0n briefly forwards two short summary strings to Anthropic's Claude via a thin proxy at ten0n.com/api/escalate; this path is described precisely in the Privacy Policy.

Section 2Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Ten0n. The app reads system data sources (calendar, contacts, photos) which often contain adult or sensitive information.
You must own or have authorized control of the iPhone you install Ten0n on, and authority to grant the app access to the data sources you choose.

Section 3Pricing

Ten0n is free at launch. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads.

Cloud escalation (when the on-device model is uncertain about a bridge candidate) is bundled with the app. We pay Anthropic for those calls. To prevent abuse, the proxy enforces a daily per-device rate limit; the app falls back to on-device-only behavior when the limit is reached. We may introduce a paid tier in the future for higher limits; this section will be updated if so.

Section 4AI-generated content

Ten0n uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models for sighting summaries and bridge evaluation. When the on-device model returns low confidence on a bridge candidate, Ten0n forwards the two summary strings to Anthropic's Claude via our proxy for a second opinion. Important caveats apply to both:

AI-generated summaries are approximations. They may misread photos, misinterpret calendar entries, or miscategorize contacts.
When the on-device model declines a prompt (typically due to its built-in safety guardrails on personal information), Ten0n falls back to a deterministic plain-English summary built from the same metadata. The audit log marks every fallback row.
Surfaced bridges are suggestions, not facts. They're meant to nudge, not direct.
Ten0n is not a substitute for a personal organizer, calendar app, or any kind of professional advice. Verify important information from authoritative sources.

Section 5Acceptable use

When using Ten0n, you agree not to:

Use the app on a device or accounts you do not own or are not authorized to use
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's prompts, model wiring, or internal storage formats
Modify or repackage the app for redistribution
Use the app in any way that violates Apple's App Store guidelines

Section 6Intellectual property

The Ten0n app, its design, brand, prompts, and architecture are owned by the developer and protected by intellectual-property law.
The data Ten0n catalogs from your iPhone — photos, contacts, calendar entries, reminders — remains yours. Ten0n does not claim ownership of any of it.
Sighting summaries and bridges are derived from your data and stay on your device unless you choose to share them.

Section 7Privacy

How Ten0n handles data is documented in the Privacy Policy. Headlines:

Sightings, bridges, and the audit log live on your iPhone — never uploaded, synced, or backed up.
No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
Cloud escalation forwards two short summary strings (≤ 280 characters each) through our proxy to Anthropic. Raw photos, mail bodies, contact details, and calendar notes never leave your phone. Every trip is recorded in your in-app audit log.

Section 8Disclaimers

Ten0n is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

The app will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
AI-generated summaries or detected bridges will be accurate or relevant
Background tasks (BGTaskScheduler) will run on any specific cadence — iOS schedules them at its own discretion
Apple's Foundation Models will accept any specific prompt — the on-device model has its own safety guardrails

Section 9Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ten0n shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including missed reminders, missed bridges, or content surfaced (or not surfaced) at any particular moment. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding any claim — which, given the App is free, is zero.

Section 10Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Ten0n evolves. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or update to this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Section 11Termination

You may stop using Ten0n at any time by deleting the App. Deleting the App removes the on-device SwiftData store and the App Group container — i.e. every sighting, bridge, audit row, and pending share Ten0n knew about. Provisions that by nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

Section 12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
